Workshop
One of the first rooms I organised. I needed a workshop to do many of the jobs around the house, so I decided on this room. It doesn't often look as tidy as this! The drawer units were originally in the back bedroom, were well made, and still do good service. Joists taken out of the kitchen floor came in handy to give good support to the workbench all round the room: the holes where they had been extended are still obvious. Note the rather more modern electrical distribution panels!
Most of the ceiling joists over this room were also replaced, due to rot problems.
