Front garden


This shows that the present drive to the house was not there when I moved in. Originally the house had stables to the left, with a driveway leading straight to them. When I bought the house it was without this building, so I needed my own access. It semed sensible at the time to provide it in front of the garage. The stables had been turned into a garage, then a very small bungalow which was accommodation for domestic help when I first saw it.
