Dining room now


In 1997, when we did major extension work on this side of the house, the West wall was cut through to extend the dining room. I sometimes regret that I didn't set the steel beam into the ceiling but at the time I couldn't stand the thought of all the extra work involved and the destruction of cupboards I had built in to the bedroom above which would have been necessary.
