Plaque detailing death of William Woodhouse in Marsala
The inscription is now difficult to read, but says something like:
William Woodhouse esquire
late of Toxteth Park Liverpool
Died at Marsala in Sicily
while on a visit
to his business in that country
where the hand of conjugal ---
has caused a monument to be erected
to his memory
